Allie's First Ballet and Tap Recital

My mom (Nana Lawson) has been taking Allison to tap and ballet class every Friday.  The two of them have been getting ready for the big recital for the last few weeks.  It was very cute and I was super proud of Allie since some kids didn't even come out.  Minnie Mouse danced the first dance with her.

Afterwards, Allie got roses from Papa and her dad then my mom gave us a picture frame with a picture of me in it at my ballet recital.  Allie still insists that it is a picture of her.  Yes, we think she looks like her mom:).

Looking forward to many more recitals in the future as Allie loves dance and why wouldn't she, it is all about dressing in pink and walking on your tiptoes.  Ah, little girls.

Evan went with us to watch the recital.  He got a Thomas the train toy from Nana and Papa so I guess it was worth his time. 

NASCAR Weekend

NASCAR weekend in Las Vegas is filled with tons of fun and family.  This year, my sister Nicole and her husband Mike flew in from Texas.  Kyle's parents came out with Sam (our nephew).  My parents were also at the race.  I didn't want Evan to miss out on it, so we took him too.  The kids did great!  They even got a nap in during the race.

Allison managed to find a 'princess' at the races.  Allie took a picture with Ms. Speedway and her dad gave some money to her charity for the crown.  Allie wore it for the rest of the weekend.

My little guy was too cute in his Dale Jr gear.  Yes, I am still trying to make him a Gordon fan but fear I am out numbered.  He LOVED the scanner most and we only dropped it abot 50 times.  Good thing scanners are pretty tough.

Pajama Day

Allison loves to dress up and pajama day was no exception. 

Disney on Ice

We took the kids last night for Disney on Ice.  Evan was great.  He sat very well throughout.  At the end he was getting a little bored and kept telling me to go, then Toy Story came out.  He loved it.  He was pointing at everyone.  Guess it made it worth sitting through all of the princess performances.

We saw lots of people we knew and I am pretty sure the entire daycare took their kids.  Evan looked super cute in his Mickey ears.  Disneyland is definitely in our future. 

Doctor Anyone

Dad took Allison to the doctor yesterday.  By the end of the day- Allison decided her dad was the best ever (obviously since Dr. Carrie can heal anything just by seeing her:) )  and Kyle decided she was REALLY cute.  Awe, wrapped around his finger.
